The Allgon Group – the parent company of Tele Radio, which provides remote control systems for overhead cranes – has published its annual Sustainability Report.

The report highlights the company’s progress over the past year in pursuing a sustainable future, minimising its environmental footprint and promoting social responsibility.

“We are convinced that sustainable thinking and action creates a better, healthier and more resilient future for both people and the planet,” said Amanda Romlin, sustainability manager at Allgon.

“The group has taken important steps towards minimising environmental impacts. We have calculated the emissions from the group in accordance with the Green House Gas Protocol [which establishes global standardised frameworks to measure and manage greenhouse gas emissions from private and public sector operations], to gain a deeper understanding of our impact.”

The company added that it has “the important mission of creating a safe and user-friendly working environment for industrial customers. It is important to us that we can constantly evolve to secure a healthy and resilient planet for our future generations to live and thrive on.

“We remain committed to becoming a global market leader in industrial radio control for whom sustainability is a natural part of business. The purpose of this Sustainability Report is to describe the sustainability developments over the past year.”
