Cranes range in capacity from 5t to 25t lifting capacity and include double girder, single girder and wall travelling jib cranes. Some of the cranes span bays of 40m and all have remote radio operation.

All equipment was built in the UK and shipped overland to Russia. To meet Russian standards, Street had to have company wide procedures audited and approved by the Russian GOST standards body and each crane was evaluated from first principles and certified as compliant with the standards of industrial safety body GosGorTechNadzor (GGTN).

The cranes are destined for a plant in the Moscow Ramenskoye district. The plant began operations in November 2005. It will produce 240,000t of float glass per year. Pilkington will operate the plant on behalf of joint venture partners.
