Brazilian industrial firm DURAFERRO Indústria e Comércio selected Rossi to supply a solution for moving an overhead crane at its hydroelectric power generation facility.
Rossi provided its EP planetary gearbox, configured to meet the requirements of heavy-duty operations.
This equipment has enabled the crane to operate with controlled movements and maintain continuous function under significant loads.
Rossi managing director André Luiz Rüegger Saldanha said: “I feel proud to lead an organisation that grows not only in revenue, but also in technical responsibility, engineering competence, and in building strong references across a wide range of applications throughout Brazil.
“Projects like this show that robust and reliable solutions are the direct result of knowledge, dedication, and above all, teamwork. When engineering, production, application expertise, and customer needs are fully aligned, the outcome is consistent performance even in the most demanding environments.
“Well-executed teamwork will always be a source of pride.”
