The handbook is said to be “more up to date and easier to use.” As the new title implies, it will be a far more effective way for buyers to buy and for sellers to sell. The whole book will be designed to be user friendly. There will also be many more opportunities for companies to promote their products and services through so-called “special information packages.”

However, one thing that will not change is the strong branding and reputation that Cranes Today has built up over many years – a reputation that has made the current handbook the leading reference guide in the market today. The new Cranes Today Buyer’s Guide will build on that strength and reputation.

Hard copies of Cranes Today Buyer’s Guide 2007 will be available in March immediately before the BAUMA show in Germany. The online version of the buyers guide will be available simultaneously on www.cranestodaymagazine.com. The new online version will have a wide range of web options allowing users to connect directly to crane manufacturers’ websites.

The specialist team assigned to deal with the publication – Boundary i-Media Ltd – will be handling the production of the guide, including data compilation and sales and they will be starting the updating and sales process for the 2007 edition at the start of October.

As specialist directory publishers, Boundary have many years of expertise in this field and they utilise the latest technologies and systems, including online data entry.

They currently produce four directories and guides under contract for Wilmington Media Ltd, the publishers of Cranes Today magazine and Hoist magazine.
