The crane will be 3 US ton capacity and be able to lift to 30ft. It will be two-speed (16 and 4ft/min) and have a self-adjusting hoist brake. The remote-control operated crane will be 32ft high with a runway length of 22ft and 5.5ft span.

The support columns at the front end of the structure shall be 17ft apart, and be 6.5ft apart for the two columns at the back end of the structure.

The hoist shall be load tested by the contractor at 125% of the rated capacity.

This requirement is 100% set-aside for small businesses. A firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated to result from the award of the RFQ. The NAICS code is 541620, and the small business size standard is $6.5million.
