New heavy duty cable carriers TKHD85 and TKHD85-R

The inner height of 58mm is ideal when not much space is required for cables and hoses as in the larger version. In return, users benefit from a lower weight, which is a clear advantage for extended travel lengths.

Extended travel lengths are the specialty of the TKHD series - whether in ship-to-shore cranes (STS), systems for bulk goods handling or other applications – the heavy duty cable carriers come into their own over long distances.

Thanks to the installed stainless steel ball bearings, the integrated rollers of the TKHD85-R are subject to virtually no wear and are maintenance-free. Roller supported cable carriers prevent unwanted expansion on the extended travel lengths.

Compared to a gliding cable carrier, the cable carrier system requires up to 90% less force and saves drive power and energy.
