The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of Euros 38.9million will require the procurement of the following goods, works and services:
– reconstruction of berths 7, 8 and 9
– capital dredging
– supply of cargo handling equipment including portal cranes, port tractors and semi-trailers
– procurement and supervision consultancy services
Tendering for the civil works contracts is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2007. Tendering for equipment is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2007.
