Stahl completes new range of electric chain hoists

Launch of a three smaller electric chain hoist has completed a five-year programme by R Stahl Fördertechnik GmbH to completely renew its full range of electric wire rope and chain hoists.

The new ST 500, with a safe working load of 500kg, is the smallest model in the ST range of electric chain hoists. Also new are the 1t SWL model ST 1000 and 2t SWL ST 2000.

The ST range itself has succeeded the earlier T series, and offers a 35% reduction in headroom compared to the older range. The ST 3200, with an SWL of 3.2t, and the 5t SWL ST 5000 have been on the market for two years.

Stahl says that features of the ST range are low maintenance requirements and long theoretical service life in accordance with FEM classification.

Completion of the ST range follows the introduction of the SH series of wire rope hoists by Stahl.
