O’Brien Installations ties with Sling-Choker Manufacturing
27 October 2014O’Brien Installations has partnered with Sling-Choker Manufacturing, an agreement that will see the latter distribute O’Brien’s range of crane and hoist products.
The deal will enable Ontario-based O'Brien Installations to broaden its geographical reach thanks to Sling-Choker's various sites that include presence in Northern Ontario, Quebec and Manitoba.
Sling-Choker will distribute a number of products and systems that include overhead cranes, jib cranes, workstation cranes, chain hoists and wire rope hoists.
Wayne Davis, vice president of O'Brien Installations said: "Sling-Choker has a long established presence in the market with a strong crane field service team in many locations we would like to reach.
"In addition, the company offers a variety of crane accessories complementing our products and allowing them to provide end-to-end solutions."
In addition, the company plans to hire additional qualified field service technicians to maintain their high level of service going forward.
