Vetter has added the provision of radio remote control to its Rotomax load turning and handling equipment. Radio remote control increases safety when turning loads such as large and heavy machinery components.

The operator can control the process from a safe distance and can also move to the best viewing position to oversee the job. In addition there are no dangling pendant cables to get caught up in the load being turned over.

Vetter recommends the use of radio control systems on all heavy load rotators, for safety and technical reasons, it says. A retrofitting service is offered to fit existing pieces of equipment with radio control.
