LiftEx conference speakers announced
2 November 2017LiftEx, the UK trade show for the overhead lifting and work at height sectors, has announced the speakers who will talk at this year’s event. The conference will take place as part of LiftEx in Telford on November 29–30.
Speakers include Cristiano Giavedoni, director at Blumani, which specialize in lifting and load bearing solutions for the events industry. Giavedoni will discuss how end users in the sector follow legislation when integrating and using chain hoists and winches.
Barrie Mordue, director of Tensology, will explain how and why magnetic testing of wire rope is set to play a wider role in lifting equipment examinations in future, and Richard Halsted, membership engagement director north at manufacturers’ organization EEF, will look at the latest trends in UK manufacturing and the importance of building a relationship with Europe following Brexit.
