Kalmar, the business area providing container handling solutions within Cargotec, has received an order for 17 E-One+ rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes from Vietnam International Container Terminals (VICT).
The 6+1 wide and 1-over-6 high units will be delivered in 2008-10 for operation at VICT's Ho Chi Minh City facility, located at the crossroads of inland transport serving both road and waterways.
The unit prices for RTGs varies between Euros 1-1.5million.
VICT handled 572,020 TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units) of containers in 2007.
