Spanish crane manufacturer Jaso has supplied three double-girder cranes to Eiffage Metal for the production of wind towers for wind turbines.

Eiffage Metal, a French company operating in the renewable energy sector, needed to incorporate lifting systems at its Madrigueras facility, near Albacete, to manufacture the cylinders that serve as the base of wind towers.

Jaso designed and produced two 50t cranes with spans of 19.66m, and a 50+50t crane with a span of 34.5m. The cranes will be dedicated to transporting the cylinders between the buildings at the facility, for treatment and subsequent loading onto trucks.
