Verlinde has broadened its Stagemaker family of hoists with the launch of a new model that is capable of handling loads up to 250kg with one fall.

The SR1, which weighs 10.5kg, ca n be easily inserted in a 12" aluminium steel girder, is fitted as standard with a double brake system that integrates the manufacturer's ChainFlux chain guide, Perfect Push patented hoist load wheel, and its protective rubber pads on the hook blocks.

According to Verlinde, the new model is "the ideal solution" for attachment points taking loads up to 250 kg. Measuring L 344 x W 153 x H 100), the hoist can be integrated into a 30cm square aluminium girder and, as a result, obviate the need for a space above the beam.

The SR1 is available with speeds of 4m/min in three-phase configuration and 3m/min in single phase. Verlinde confirms that each model is available with A, B and S versions.

The key differences between each model is that the A version refers to motors with direct voltage control, the B version refers to motors with low voltage control and the S version refers to single-phase. The rated load with 1 chain fall enables this hoist to be marketed as D8 for loads up to 125 kg.

"Stagemaker SR1 is fitted with best-in-class safety features to comply with current standards and regulations. It is delivered as standard equipped with a double hoist brake thus providing direct D8+ compatibility," explains the manufacturer.
