Susanna Schneeberger takes major global role at Terex Material Handling
1 April 2015Terex Material Handling has appointed Susanna Schneeberger as the new head of its worldwide activities.
Schneeberger succeeds Steve Filipov who was running the entire Terex Material Handling & Port Solutions on an interim basis.
Filipov says: the business is "very happy" to have found an outstanding leader in Schneeberger.
He adds: "She brings strong commercial and business strategy expertise to Terex and a track record of profitably growing global businesses."
Commenting on her appointment, Schneeberger says Terex is a great company and Demag is a very well-known global brand in which she sees a "lot of potential" and wants to continue to develop based on its current strengths and success.
"The global footprint, the strong and innovative product portfolio and the excellent service offering were further aspects that were crucial to me," she explains.
Schneeberger was previously at Swedish company Trelleborg AB, where she led strategic business development for the group and global sales and marketing for Trelleborg's Industrial Solutions business area.
