Enerpac has launched the SL300, the latest model in the company’s SL series of telescoping hydraulics gantries.

The crane offers the highest lifting capacity in the series, on a 61cm track gauge, for heavy lifting and rigging applications.

The SL300 features two stage lifting cylinders and at 2,705mm retracted height has lift capacity of 3,000kN on four legs. At stage one, lift capacity is 750kN at 4,605mm, and at stage two, lift capacity is 500kN at 6,700mm maximum height.

As well as meeting safety standards set by ASME B30.1-2015, each gantry is tested to 125% of capacity at full extension and witness-tested by a qualified, third-party organization, says Enerpac. It is also CE-compliant.

As with all Enerpac gantries, the SL300 features self-contained hydraulics, electronic controls, and an Intellilift wireless control system, which enables the operator to control the lift locally at each leg. The wireless system provides automatic synchronised lifting with an accuracy of 25.4mm, and automatic synchronisation of travel with an accuracy of 15mm.

Peter Crisci at Enerpac said: “Providing a more advanced solution than standard lifting systems, the SL300 Hydraulic Gantry offers industry leading features such as a wireless control system and integrated self-propelled drive system.

“These features, combined with safe, reliable performance, allow our customers to satisfy their complicated lifting applications."
