Enerpac Heavy Lifting Technology has been awarded the ESTA Innovation Manufacturer Award for its ETL600 Travel Gantry.

The honour was awarded at the ESTA—the European association for abnormal road transport and mobile crane rental industry—Awards of Excellence 2017.

The ETL600 combines the safety and efficiency of a hydraulic gantry with the ease-of-use of a self-propelled modular transporter (SPMT), says Enerpac, while the lifting capacity of 60t sets a new standard in equipment and container handling.

The gantry features hydraulically-propelled rubber tyres and carousel turning, allowing it to move in any direction. The diesel-driven hydraulics are incorporated within the gantry, increasing mobility by eliminating hoses.

Other features include a wireless controller with software that automatically ensures synchronous lifting, and an overload prevention safety system.

“We thank ESTA for this prestigious award,” said Jeroen Naalden, global director, Enerpac Heavy Lifting Technology. “As the industry grapples with the challenge of handling heavier loads safely, Enerpac is here to supply the new thinking needed to develop innovative lifting solutions using proven technologies.”
