Expanding Norfolk manufacturer awards four crane contract
1 August 2012Norfolk-based specialist bearings supplier, Cooper Bearings, has awarded a contract for four cranes to service its expanding UK facility.
Konecranes UK has revealed that it submitted the successful bid for GBP 91,500 contract, and will fulfill the order with three single girder overhead cranes and one freestanding jib crane.
The order consists of an 8.2m-span crane fitted with an XN chain hoist, two 11.7m-span CXT cranes, with 5t and 10t lifting capacities, and a 1t freestanding jib crane.
Konecranes UK says the cranes will be delivered in August 2012.
