The company has been associated with industrial cranes since 1809 but in recent years has focused on supplying explosion-proof cranes for petrochemical, civil engineering and water companies worldwide.

• Acromet (Aust) Pty of Victoria, Australia has been appointed distributor of the Hover-Lift vacuum lifting system in Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia. Earlier this year Vac-U-Max was appointed as the manufacturer’s agent for the Americas, as UK manufacturer Craven Associates bids to take its domestic success global. The Hover-Lift has a capacity of 500kg and about 200 units have been installed in the UK to date.
