International projects for SWF Krantechnik

2 December 2002

SWF Krantechnik of Germany has expanded its international profile with three recent projects. On a project in Denmark it installed 17 new single girder cranes with local crane builder CT Kraner. Four of the cranes were rated at 3.2t and the other 13 had a safe working load of 5t.

The cranes use Nova-branded wire rope hoists, produced by SWF's parent company KCI Konecranes in Finland. These hoists are equipped as standard with the new MicroMove cross travel inverters, meaning soft start and swing-free trolley travelling.

SWF has also supplied 16t Nova hoists to its Spanish partner, Vinca, which is building six double girder cranes.

In Dubai eight double girder Nova crane systems with an SWL of 15t have been installed for a customer by SWF's local partner there, Danway LLC.
