CeMAT gains independence

2 December 2002

CeMAT, the world's leading materials handling trade fair, is no longer to be an occasional fixture at the Hannover Fair in Germany but will instead become a stand-alone, independent exhibition.

The new CeMAT Hannover will be held every three years, with the first one in October 2005. More than 1,000 exhibitors are expected by the organisers and more than 80,000m2 of display space is to be made available.

CeMAT is supported by the Materials Handling & Logistics Systems Association within the VDMA (the German engineering federation) and organised by Deutsche Messe AG.
